Chen Song attended CPPCC of Qingdao

The 3^rd session of the 13^th Municipal Commission of Qingdao of CPPCC successfully completed its agenda and closed in the afternoon of January 21^st. Mr. Chen Song, Chairman of Yewhing Group, attended the 3-day session as CPPCC member of Municipal Commission of Qingdao. During the session, he made the proposal of “Implementing the international city strategy and reinforcing the cooperation between Africa and Qingdao”and accepted the press interview.

In the proposal of “Implementing the international city strategy and reinforcing the cooperation between Africa and Qingdao”, Mr. Chen proposed to continue the expansion of importation from Africa, especially the resource and non-resource bulk products and based on the advantageous resource of Qingdao Port, to explore the trade convenience in customs and commodity inspection department for bulk goods from Africa and to develop the logistic advantages in regional trade; to found the Africa-Qingdao Economy, Trade, Culture and Tourism Meeting in order to create a new window for economic and trade cooperation between Africa and Qingdao and the economic and trade exchange platform for local brands between Africa and China; to choose important cooperative countries in Africa for Qingdao, to organize “Qingdao-Africa Economic, Trade and Cultural Cooperation Meetings”in order to introduce local resources of Africa, and to establish the Overseas Industrial and Commercial Centers of Qingdao in African countries in order to expand the advertisement of the international city Qingdao; to deepen the brand promotion, to organize series events of “Trade with Qingdao, Capital of Brands” in Africa, with direction of the Ministry of Commerce and the support of commercial chambers and trade associations, including booth subsidies, in order to encourage the brand enterprises, the brand products and the brand services to exploit the African market; to encourage the exploitation of e-commerce market in Africa, to support pilot enterprises with subsidies, to create independent African e-commerce platforms, to take use of e-commerce to develop the trade of quality and featured products between Africa and Qingdao.

Meanwhile, during NPC & CPPCC, Mr. Chen accepted the interview on the “development situation of the private economy of Qingdao”. Mr. Chen indicated that the financing means was monotonous on current financial market of Qingdao, generally by means of pledge of assets, guarantee, etc. However, in the field of foreign trade, many private enterprises have well developed overseas, but these overseas transactions can’t be used by the enterprises as proof of financing. According to Mr. Chen, the cash flow of enterprise can be taken for the proof of credit to solve the financing difficulties of private enterprises. Meanwhile, the official foundation of the Private Economy Development Bureau of Qingdao created a warm and reliable home for private enterprises. Its name fixed as “Development Bureau” instead of “Management Bureau” shows that the function of this department is service instead of simple management, which makes private enterprises feel very warm and full of expectations.
